The National Cyber Security Agency is pleased to announce the granting of a certificate of compliance with the National Information Assurance (NIA) standard by the Ministry of Finance. This achievement highlights the importance and benefits of compliance with the National Information Assurance (NIA) standard and contributes to securing national information at both institutional and state levels.
A testimony from Mr. Khalid Fouad Makki Mohamed, Head of Information Security, Ministry of Finance:
“We are pleased to share our insights on the significant impact of the NIA Certification on our ministry's cybersecurity framework. This certification has been instrumental in advancing our capability to safeguard sensitive information, particularly in enhancing the Ministry of Finance's (MOF) Security Governance, Data Security and Business Continuity capabilities. Through this certification, we have achieved a higher level of cybersecurity maturity across the three key areas: People, Process, and Technology.
We believe that sharing our NIA Certification journey will not only highlight our MOF commitment to information security but also inspire other organizations to prioritize their cybersecurity measures. We look forward to collaborating with you and contributing as required for securing our Nation.”
The National Cyber Security Agency looks forward to all state institutions and critical sector organizations obtaining the certificate of compliance with the National Information Assurance (NIA) standard.
