NCSA President meets with Cybersecurity service providers
His Excellency Eng. Abdulrahman Bin Ali Al-Farahid Al-Malki, President of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) met with the executive management of Qatar based cyber security service providers, in line with NCSA’s efforts to govern cyber security supply chain and provide assurance to the national cyber space on provided services.
During the meeting, the National Cyber Security Agency shared its vision and roadmap to govern cyber security services and mandate related Accreditation and other assurance initiatives offered to service providers.
This was a precursor before the mandatory accreditation of service providers, as government entities and national critical infrastructure organizations will exclusively engage with accredited service providers.
This step marks the beginning of a regulatory journey, that fosters national cyber security and trust in related services.
